Who we are
This website is run by UK Motor Export Hub ("we"). You can contact us about your data at [email protected].
What we collect
Only what you send us through the forms: what you need the car for, your WhatsApp number, Telegram username or email, and your message (for example the car and budget you want). If you ask about a car from the examples, we also receive its name. We do not ask for your ID, bank details or address on this website.
Why we use it
To reply to your request, send you car options and prices, and handle your order if you decide to buy. We do not sell your data and do not send advertising to you without your consent.
Who processes it for us
Cloudflare (website hosting and form handling); Telegram (your request is delivered to our team's private Telegram chat); Resend (a backup copy of your request by email). When you open a car in Swahili or French, the auction description of the car (no personal data) is sent to the MyMemory translation service.
Technical data and analytics
To protect the forms from spam we briefly use your IP address to limit the number of requests; it is not stored. We may use privacy-friendly website statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics, no cookies) and, for advertising measurement, Google Analytics, which can use cookies. You can block cookies in your browser.
How long we keep it
Requests are kept for up to 24 months so we can follow up on your enquiry, then deleted. If you become a client, order documents are kept as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete your data, or to stop contacting you, at any time — write to [email protected]. We follow the Tanzania Personal Data Protection Act 2022 and the UK GDPR. You can also complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission of Tanzania or the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
